Administrator 

Hours 20 per week 
Salary $15,000 per annum 

Responsible for: 

Administering the development of the sport in North Queensland, under the direction of the North Queensland Parachuting Council Management Committee. 

Requirements: 

· ASSA Level One, with a thorough background knowledge and understanding of the sport in all areas. 

· Must possess communications, financial and general office skills. 

· Must be able to work irregular hours eg. weekends/evenings as required. 

Duties: 

Act as Treasurer for NQPC affairs. Coordinate general office procedures and service the requirements for correspondence and areas of bookkeeping, banking, payments and receipts of the NQPC, and ensure that the Annual audit is carried out. 

Maintain/distribute communications regarding the Qld Govt SDU for funding 

Coordinate with Development Officer of QPA to: 
· Prepare the development and ongoing update of the NQPC 3 Year Development Plan. 
· Prepare and submit applications, submissions and reports for State Government and/or Federal Government funding and Council business. 
· Ensure acquittals are prepared and submitted for grants received.

Coordinate with Development Officer to: 

- Provide administrative support to the Directors of Coaching by Coordinating lecturers, specialists, venues, catering, travel and accommodation, etc., required for the conduct of accreditation courses, competitions, rigging, judging, junior coaching programs, athlete development, workshops and seminars, special training programs. 

Coordinate with the Development Officer to: 

Provide administrative support for Chairperson of Instructors, Riggers, Judges, Safety, by coordinating lecturers, specialists, venues, catering, travel and accommodation etc. as required for conducting seminars, courses etc. 

Improve public relations activities, reporting, sponsorship or other related activities 

Publish communications via newsletters where required and assist with club/member inquiries and services 

Attend competitions, conferences, seminars in Australia and overseas where possible and keep up to date with new developments within the sport 

Ensure that the incumbent complies with relevant acts to ensure legal and ethical standards are maintained.
